IPE
Institute for Studies in Political Economy
The Institute for Studies in Political Economy (IPE) is an independent non-profit research institution. A registered association according to Austrian law, IPE promotes education and research in the field of Political Economy.
IPE aims at a unity of theory and practice in the work of social scientists and political activists. Furthermore IPE organizes, supports, and tries to strengthen the dialogue between social scientists and the public (science communication).
In particular IPE initiates projects in Development Studies, International Economic Relations, Economic and Social Policy, and Urban and Regional Development. It does so in cooperation with local and governmental actors in the fields, and non-governmental organizations, respectively.
IPE is dedicated to encouragement and support of young researchers.
